As Executive General Manager of the Construction Industries division, Sebastian oversees and is responsible for the sale and support of all Caterpillar equipment across general construction, paving, building products and energy and transport in all Hastings Deering’s markets.

Sebastian’s previous key responsibilities at Hasting Deering included strategic marketing; marketing and brand; customer experience; data governance, analytics, and insight; and digital solutions.

Before joining Hastings Deering, Sebastian spent 20 years with Paris-based oil major TOTAL SA (now TotalEnergies), where he held multiple roles across the globe, including energy trading in London, Norway, and Singapore.

As a previous commodities trader, Sebastian is a member of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and holds Certificates in Derivatives Trading and Financial Services Regulations.

Sebastian holds customer relationships and customer/business productivity in the highest regard, listening and working with customers on their business direction and strategies. Ensuring we provide the right solutions to help them grow is his priority.

Outside of work, he enjoys golf, all types of water sport activity and spending time with his wife and three lovely children. Sebastian is also an avid reader.
