Kent has worked for Hastings Deering since 2001 and is based in Brisbane. Kent has more than 23 years of experience with Hastings Deering, having completed his apprenticeship in Toowoomba. Over the years, Kent has gained experience in field service and product support in both mining and the oil and gas industry. The Bucyrus acquisition gave Kent the opportunity to support the integration of a legacy business into Hastings Deering over five years. He then returned to Brisbane in a sales and operations role. Kent’s responsibilities at Hastings Deering include:

• Automation – sell and support autonomous machine solutions

• Electrification – transition the business to a future of machine electrification As technology advances our machine designs, building a strong business that supports their sale, service and application is crucial. When not at work, Kent enjoys living on a small rural property with his wife and two boys.
